Job description
The Reconciliation Officer is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of financial transactions, accounts, and statements. The successful candidate will identify and resolve discrepancies, maintain accurate records, and support the Finance team.
Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of financial transactions, accounts, and statements.
2. Identify and correct discrepancies, anomalies, and irregularities in financial records.
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of adjustments, adjustments, and corrections.
4. Support the finance team in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
5. Ensures compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures.
6. Develops and implements process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications and Experience
.Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
At least 2 years' experience in reconciliation, accounting, or finance
.Proper use of accounting software and Microsoft Office
.Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
